Fitness porn star Lauren Hill wants to change the way people look at exercise.
The 22-year-old New Jersey native said that she started looking at how to “eat right” before embarking on a 30-day diet program last year.
She started with a basic low-carb diet and, after a year of working out, found that it worked.
“When I started to eat better and less carbs, my waistline started to come down,” Hill said.
“It’s just that I started doing it in my own home, and it was just a whole new way of eating.”
Hill added that the diet worked for her, but it didn’t work for everyone.
“There are certain people that can really struggle with cardio and certain people can really get addicted to it and that’s what’s happened to me,” Hill told MSNBC.
“I’ve had so many people say, ‘I don’t even want to do this anymore.
I’ve got to lose a bunch of weight.’
But they’re doing it on the side, and I think they’re going to be able to stay away from it.”
Hill’s program focuses on eating healthier and not eating as much as possible, so that you’re getting the nutrients you need to burn off fat.
Her goal is to lose as much fat as possible in the first two months of her diet.
Hill also says that she’s started to take more exercise.
“I love exercise, but I’ve definitely taken it a little more seriously,” Hill explained.
“You’ve got all the people who are walking and you’ve got people who’re standing up, and you’re trying to get a bodyweight workout.
I really enjoy it.”
