The data shows that for many of those new subscribers, the cost of a Fitbit is only $300, which isn’t much of a jump, but a lot cheaper than the $1,300 annual cost for the first two years of the membership.
The survey also shows that those new Fitbit users who were paying $300 a month for the Plus membership have a lower monthly fitness cost than the Fitbit members who were actually paying that much for the service.
While the cost is still quite a bit more than $300 in today’s dollars, the new data shows the difference between a Fitbits $300-a-month membership and a FitBit Plus membership.
Fitbit has been offering a new FitBit for $150 for six months now, and while it’s still a great deal, the price has dropped dramatically since the first six months.
Fitbit also has a new fitness tracker, the FitBit Flex, that will start shipping later this month.
FitBit is also planning to launch a fitness tracker with more sensors in the near future, as well as a new app for tracking workouts and eating.
